Long Range Facilities Committee

Lincoln County Long Term Facility Committee is established to ensure transparent and accountable implementation of the Lincoln County School Bond Program – Measure 21-232 approved by voters in May 2025.  The committee serves in an advisory capacity to the school district and to monitor progress on District facility projects.

Committee Charge:

  1. Monitor Bond Program Implementation:
    Review project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure consistency with the bond’s stated scope and objectives.
  2. Ensure Fiscal Accountability:
    Confirm that bond revenues are used only for purposes authorized by the bond measure, including capital improvements, not for operational or instructional expenses.
  3. Promote Transparency:
    Serve as an external body that tracks the bond program
  4. Serve as a Voice of the Community: Provide feedback to the district on key questions that may arise during the bond program

Scope of Responsibility:

  • Review bond program financial and performance audits.
  • Review project schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Review progress toward completing promised projects and major program milestones.
  • Review and provide feedback on any deviations, change in scope or timeline from planned bond program.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations regarding communication with the public.
